remote system for trolling motor

I have a hand operated Minn Kota Endura (30lb) trolling motor. Is there a way to put a remote control system on it? Do you have to buy a certain motor to go with the remote system?

I think you have to buy a minn kota that already accepts the remote control. I don't think you can rig a remote to a non-remote minn kota! You would have to design and build it yourself...I have no idea how to do that! Good luck
