Ok, I have searched the forum before asking this question, and closest thing I came to was this post, and it belonged in the volvo area:

http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=361955&highlight=remote+trim+switch

I have a '94 Rinker, with a Alpha one Generation two outdrive (4.3 L vortec V6).

I would like to add a remote trim switch similar to this one :

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290612793630&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNASIF:US:1123

on my rear transom way above the waterline of course, so I don't have to climb up in the boat, (damaging the family jewels every time) while it is on the trailer every time I want to trim up the out drive. My limit switches, trailer switch (albeit stiff), and throttle switches all work as they should.

Any suggestions on wiring this baby in?? I assume I should do it up stream of the selenoid?

Re: Remote trim switch wiring question help

On the trim pump, you have a red 3 wire connector that plugs the helm control to the trim pump. Just tee into the 3 wires
on the harness side of the plug, not the trim pump side.
