Removable Transducer Mount

Hello all.

My son just gave me a real nice Lowrance depth/fish finder. I currently have a low end model mostly for keeping an eye on depth while moving.

I would like to leave that as is with the transducer mounted on the rear of my left log.

I would also like to buy or fab up a removable bracket that I can put the transducer on and remove it when we are not fishing. I would like to mount this one on or near the front of the boat (or maybe right beside the helm). I already have a trolling motor that mounts on the front deck just clear of the right log, and the battery for it is in the stow in the right front corner of the fence.

With all this Im thinking about putting the mount on the right outside edge of the front or on the right side by the helm. I also need to decide if I want the unit mounted on the helm or near the front... Either way the cable should be long enough to reach the helm or the front.

What have yall done or seen that may fit this bill?
All ideas appreciated.

I have a removable transducer mount on the bow of my toon and sounds like just what you are looking for bud. Its from fishing specialities. I have seen them on Amazon but I ordered mine direct from them as there are options for different transducer style mounts. So far I have used it up to about 10 mph and it holds solid if you dont get any sticks stuck on it. I am very happy with it.
