Removal of Exhaust Manifold

Ok...going to take care of my overheating problem by changing out gaskets around exhaust manifold and thermostat and replacing impeller.

I am trying to take exhaust manifold off and it is sticking into bellows pretty well. Should I be trying to take the whole bellows and exhaust manifold off in one piece or should I just keep working at getting the exhaust manifold elbow off by itself and then re-gasket and set it back into bellows?

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

manifold and elbow off...

Putting new gaskets all the way around. Greasing up bellows and setting in.

Off to thermostat repair.
