While I'm waiting for parts in the process or repowering my 97 2252 express cruiser, I was looking at replacing the switches on the dash with a lighted panel.
To do it right I wanted to remove the stainless steel dash panel but need to remove the steering wheel. It is press fit onto the shaft just like an automotive wheel, but unlike a car it doesn't have any bolt holes for the steering wheel puller to thread into. The entire wheel is plastic with a metal sleeve in the center that is press fit onto the shaft.
Does anyone know the best way to pull this steering wheel without breaking anything?
