Is it possible to remove my my Alpha One Gen 2 drive without draining the oil. I have an external oil reservoir inside the engine compartment. The drive sits on a Mercruiser 5.0L Gen+ (2001). The oil is almost new and checked ok.
So if possible i would just put gear in forward, remove speed pitot, remove 6 nuts and pull off.
