that looks like a pain at the least...why do u need to remove it?...looking at the 1st pic, it doent look like its coming out lol

+1 . . . looks like it is going to require some cutting :confused:. Seems like it was installed before the deck liner was installed onto the hull. . .

can you tell if it is foamed in or merely held in with straps, etc. ?

Looks like you will either have to cut it out or split the cap and hull.

replying to tpenfield, it has hold down clamps in corners cant see any foam

reply to 1armbandit. its very dirty inside. from what i read on here, its almost impossible to clean out . right now i put a filter after the tank. will be testing it tomorrow . sure wish there was a easy way to remove it. guess thats why the guy i bought it from sold it lol

I have not researched it because I am installing a new tank on my project boat, but I understand there are fuel bladders that can be put in an otherwise failing tank. Check it out. Could save a LOT of work.

you can pull the sender and clean out the tank easy-peasy without removing the tank.

spray in some POR-15 marine clean with a garden sprayer, then hose it out.
