Removing bench seats?

I am about to undertake a restoration of my fishing boat it is a 4.1m aluminium hull with four bench seats one at the front one at the back and one down each side of the boat making a square (I think it was an old diving boat). what I would like to do is rip out the two seats down the side to give me more of a fishing platform And would like some advice on some usefull tools and the best way to go about doing this. They seem to be riveted to the hull but not welded.... Thanks

you are going to have to reinforce the sides, as the seat act as braces.
