1985 115, I have removed the VRO and replaced with a conventional pump and the old connector in the engine is installed in such a way that I cant get it off. It leaks with my fuel line connected(fuel line has a newer connector which didnt leak on my other Johnson) so I need to remove the engine connector and install a new one. No screws hold this on like my 1996 88, it is almost as if the hose barb for the oil supply was installed after the connector was inplace. Anyone know how to get that out?
