Guys, what position does my throttle need to be in when removing my lower unit? I have had it off before but left it in neutral, is there a better way or easier way?

I put it in neutral. For me it makes for easier re-installation because It is harder for the lower unit to slip out of neutral into gear when meshing the shift shaft. Meshing in forward, the lower can pop into neutral with the slightest bump and the remote and gears are out of sync. This has been my experience.
