Removing Mercruiser I/O 120

I am planning on pulling the engine out of my boat. It is a 153 CI mercruiser 120 4 cyl. I am aware of the single front mount. My question is what do I need to remove near the rear of the engine to free it. I think I had heard someone say that there are two bolts that need to be removed (one on each side ) near the rear of the engine block. Is this true ? Is that all (except wiring) that I need to remove. I have taken several engines out of cars but this is a first on a boat. I was told that if I do this right its quite easy and if I do it wrong I will create a bunch of additional work for myself. If it matters agter removing the engine I intend to remove the transom plate and gimbal ring. Thanks !

Pull the outdrive first, then all wires, lines, cables, hoses and the three engine mounts. The single front mount, and one either side of the engine at the rear.

Thanks ! Thats what I thought. I have the drive off and the wires, cables and hoses removed. My concern was identifing the rear mounts so that I'm not removing the wrong bolts. I think they are about 5 inched long and run vertically ? does that sound right ??

They are also run through brackets off the flywheel housing and brackets off of the boat with an insulator between the brackets. It sounds like you are looking at the right thing.

If you do not have a manual yet, do get one, they are worth every penny and will help you out a lot.

engine wiring stays on engine very few wires need unhooked , battery ,grounds .undo the two bolts on bellhousing and the two lag srews at the bottom of front mount. fuel line, hose from outdrive, rubber exhaust coupler. big wiring connector .
