removing my 4.3 merc i/o

i have 4.3 merc in a 22 cuddy. i nee dto get it totally ready to be lifted out for repair over the winter. can anyone provide me with detailed instruction on what exactly to do in order to make this possible. i have a pretty good idea of what im doing, just need the details to make it perfect. alpha 1 outdrive. please. looking to do this work tomorrow. thanks!

Ayuh,... Pull the outdrive,...
Disconnect the plumbing,+ wiring,...
Pull the bolts from the motor mounts,+ lift straight up...

Go to the Adults only sticky at the top of this forum and go to the Merc service manual link. Download the manual for your engine and drive. Can't say which since you failed to mention year or anything.
There is sections in it on removal and installation. with details and pictures.
