1997 Evinrude SPL twin 50 hp motor.
The oil injection works, but I dont trust them...(old fashioned)
can I disconnect the eletrical wire, cut and block off the oil pipe?
or do I have to do something different.
thats what i did on my 93 40, since it did not come with the oil tank. just cut the oil line at the connector, and blocked it. and unpluged the alarm sensor wire. i think 97 should have the new system on it.
