I bought a electric fuel pump form advanced, and 10 feet of hose. I fit the hose to each end of the pump; put one end in the fuel tank and the other in the gas can. Then I just Hooke the sum to the battery and let it do the work. I got 30 gallons out no problem.

I have also used an electric fuel pump

you will also need to clean the sludge from the tank and check the anti-siphon valve.

what ever you do, do not use a shop vac to suck it out.

Northern tool also sells hand cranked fuel transfer systems which I've used in the past. Short of that, an electric 12v pump works well too, be careful about sparks and fuel vapors.

i did this yesterday, i was going to pull up the access port but you have to take out the back seat screw that. this is what i did:
take fuel hose off carbureator, put in gas can, hot wire fuel pump where the relay is just use a jumper to run the pump it will drain the whole tank for you easy. i pumped out 15 gallons of old fuel yesterday. change the fuel filter after doing this as it may have sucked up all the gunk off the bottom of the tank.
