Removing remotes

Hi guys
I thought this would be a straight forward operation, but never the less here I am....
Can someone please tell me how to remove the whole remote assembly of this style of remote? (Photos found on the net). I can't see any obvious way of removing the shift lever which in turn would allow acces to the screws / bolts under the plastic cover? I can access both sides of the remote, no problem.

There is a set screw on the bottom of the handle that is sort of hard to find but if you look up you should be able to find it... Item number 10 in the image below and the following link will be a good guide for this project, https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxE...w?pref=2&pli=1
