removing seat back rest?

I have a 1990 Maxium 17 ski boat. How do i remove the padded back rests that are long the inside of the boat? i cant feel any bolts or screws on the back side! please help thanks

If you are talking about coaming bolsters?

yes the coaming bolsters look correct. i have read that some are screw from the back but i cant feel any screw or bolts. So i guess i just lift up on them and they should come out? Is this correct?

or,..
If there's any "Buttons" on 'em, they Could be hiding screws...

Here are some pictures of how mine came off. There are plugs with compression fins on them. There were also two through bolts at the extreme front edge towards the bow. All the rest were compression plugs. Hope this helps

okay i will try this. so most are pushed in, not slid on those clips.
