Removing seat backs from plastic bases?

Hi all new here but I can't find the answer to this question anywhere. I have a 2005 Northwoods 2023 Party/Fish pontoon. I want to have the L bench reupholstered. Is there a way to remove the seat backs from the plastic bases? I have felt underneath and can only find 3 screws under the entire thing. There must be more to it than that. The seat flips up of course and you just have to remove the hinges from the plastic bases and the seat comes off but I'm just not seeing how the seat backs come off. I've attached a pic of the seat in question. Thanks for any responses!

Those screws you feel are all there is. If removed you should be able to pull the seat back straight up. This is assuming there are no screws that may have been installed through the fence railing to help support the seat.

Maybe you already know, but Amazon carries replacement seats that can be ordered separately from the bases at a pretty good price. A price the might make custom work cost prohibitive? Curious how you make out. Please let us know.

Thank you for your response. The seat backs seem to be pretty rigidly fastened as if there has to be more than a few screws holding them down but I will start there and see where it gets me. Someone suggested they may have a strong velcro on the railing and the back side of the seat back as well. I did look around for replacements but couldn't find anything the right size and most places I talked to suggested I try to find OEM seats because part of my bench is not supported by railings and all the aftermarket ones needed railing support.

In addition the captains chair needs reupholstering as well. I can have the bench seat and captains chair reupholstered in the same matching colors for just under $900 which I feel is reasonable and less hassle than trying to work with something that may not exactly fit and or match existing color scheme.

I'm basing my answer on the fact those seats were made by Wise. If that's true, it's just about those screws. I've use those seats on 3 boats in the last 3 years so pretty familiar!

900, including a captain's chair, does seem pretty reasonable, and as Wise is made in China, in all likelihood might include better material.

Thanks again. This boat has been a bit of a project. Inherited it from the in laws. The carpet was moldy as you can see. What you see in the pic is what was left after taking a pressure washer to it for almost a hour. I then had a carpet cleaning company come in with commercial equipment and professional extractors so for a 20 year old carpet it came out pretty well. The deck is solid. The seats aren't cracked so the foam is still in good shape but the vinyl is faded and very dry. Will be splitting and cracking very soon so now's the time to fix it. There are 4 pedestal fishing seats all still in very good shape.

Good news is it came with a 4 year old 60 horse Honda 4 stroke with about 30 hours on it and a Triton scissors trailer with about 20 miles on it

You were right ahicks it was 5 screws total holding that seat back on the base. It came off as one piece. I got lucky as it juuust fit in the back of my Ford Expedition so it payed off buying the extended length one! I didn't have my trailer up at the lake so I got lucky and was able to drop off the seats and seat back as well as the captains chair for reupholstering today. After looking it all over they quoted me $875 for doing all of it. Hopefully it turns out good.
