I am in the process of removing the side glass from my 88 Bayliner. My problem is removing the Aluminum Frame from around the glass. I would like to reinstall the Aluminun around the windshield to better finish the job. I can not find a release agent to seperate the Alum from the Glass. Have tried Lacquer Thinner, HCL, and 3M Release Agent. Any Ideas? Thanks.

Found a way to solve the problem. Used Heat. I carefully heated both sides of the Alum. frame with a propane torch, moving the torch constantly so as to not create a hot spot and by hand, immediately pulled the Alum. and glass apart. <br />I didn't want to destroy the glass in case at a later date sold the Boat.
