Removing stuck water pump coupling

In the middle of changing out the impellor on my Alpha 1 Gen 2. The water pump coupling (816597A1) is stuck to the upper water hose in the upper half of the lower unit. It seems pretty stuck on.

I understand​ I need to remove it to change 2 orings as well to attach it to the water pump housing on the gearcase for reinstallation.

Any ideas to remove it? Trying not to damage it or the upper water hose. Also it is the coupling itselft stuck not the guide tube.

Ayuh,.... I believe you'll find the tube is held into the upper drive by another o-ring,....

Alrighty, false alarm everybody. I generally suck at opening jars and what not so I got my mom to twist it off with a rubber gloves. Soaking it with carb cleaner helped a bit. Orings was a little melted.
