Trying to replace the starter on a 1985 35hp Merc, got the front cowl piece loose and the bolts to the starter removed but there a bracket at the bottom of the starter that bolts to the front of the block under the carb. Whats the trick to get to that piece? I can't remove the carb without removing the starter?
