I took my in laws FourWinns Freedom (which is all white) on vacation last week. I kept it in a slip for the week (fresh water). The bottom now has a slight beige tint to it and won't wash off. Is there something household I can use as its Saturday night and WM is closed. I tried RV black streak remover which only helped a little. I did try a spot under the transom using a green scotch brite dish sponge and it took it off. Is that too harsh to use? Help please! Thanks.

Ough, oh Tin guy w/ a glasser. Even worse, it's the inlaws boat................
Do NOT follow the advice of that Jas fella, he'll steer ya into a whole heap of trouble :faint2:

If you can find a cleaner at home that has Oxalic acid in it, use that.
Removing brownish stain from hull,,,what works best?

Some also suggest the Majic Eraser & or toilet bowl cleaner....

PROTECT ALL WOOD & METAL from any acid, including Oxalic (which is a primary ingredient in teak cleaner)

Good luck & hopefully the inlaws aren't expected for brunch today :watermelon:

magic erasers are a fine abrasive, beware you may have to buff out the area you use it on to get the shine back...
