repaint engine cowling

I have a 1968 18hp Evinrude, and the cowling looks a little rough. I would like to repaint it with original paint scheme. Looking for advice on painting the fiberglass (special treatment in paint?). Also need to know original paint scheme. Any photos of an original '68 ?<br /><br />thanks,<br />Ratherbfishn

RBF, Go to www.aomci.org and click on "Ask A Member" This is the antique Outboard Club. Someone will give you colors and probably a picture of it. Prices on a decals are going to blow you away, so save(don't sand them off) any that are on there till you see what you can get.
