I have a Sears Elgin Model 12-14.1 hp on the outside of the Motor are the Numbers 2248 and on the engine is stamped 61601210 I am told the Carburater was leaking gas and that is why it hasn't been used. It has a Carter Model N 3199S Carb. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I could use Points, Coil, Condenser and an Manual Thanks, Brian

I don't find those numbers but based on the horsepower my guess is it was built by McCulloch for Sears.The McCulloch uses the Carter model N carb.The 14 first appears in 61 as model 574- 6013.Your best bet for info is probably The Scott Guy at Ask The Scott Guy.
