are the SeLoc repair manuals sold on this site what I need for general reapirs? How detailed do they get? I have a 1991 evinrude "xp" 150HP and would like info on the carb, fuel/pump filter, sparks, other engine parts, tilt/trim system etc, will this information be in there? if not, can you reccomend one?

Re: repair manual?

I agree, I have an 86 XP 150, that I am in the process of rebuilding and I at first bought a Clymers Manual, which isn't nearly as good as the OEM I bought for my year engine.

For about another $25 or so, you can also get a parts catalog in case you ever need to order any parts. It's very nice. One of the really cool parts of the OEM, was it came with poster sized schematics of the wires, etc. That would come in very handy if you ever need to track a wire down.

If your lucky you can find the OEM Factory Service manual on ebay for a fraction of the cost of a Clymers or Seloc. I got mine for $10-15 on ebay.
