repair manuals

when I bought the manual for my 2004 40 hp Johnson, I just realized I bought an evinrude manual.....duhhh. is there any part description difference between the two? I have to refer back to my thread about the water impeller, is there a difference in tines or are they the same?

never mind...lol just looked them both models and the part # is the same.

Should be the same motors if they are 2 stroke models.----The 3 vane impeller was used for many years.--Nothing wrong with them or it would have been a short lived item.

The only time they didn't work was in the 3 cylinder motors.
