i have a 1977 johnson 200 hp. power tilt goes up but not down. any body know a good repair shop near rochester mi. ?

Being low on fluid can cause that, pirate. Be sure she is full before you spend big bux. Your Service Manual (a much better investment than even 1 hour at a shop) explains how to top it off.

I know of a pretty good clinic in Rochester Minn.....but nothing for Michigan....sorry

thanks. i did have a leak from tubing at bottom of unit that i replaced o rings in. so i had been adding fluid from time to time. but yesterday i tried to add fluid and removed screw and a small amount spurted out. i have two manuals and thing else looks to complicated to me.
