I purchased my first boat recently and noticed that the hull has two small holes. The previous owner attempted to create his own battery housing to keep the battery from sliding around and in doing so he put two screws through the bottom of the boat. I have not taken the screws out yet because I would like to get some advice on what product(s) I should use to fill these small holes. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Shoeman, if the holes are from #4-6-8 wood screws in a fiberglass hull, you can use some epoxy putty like Marine-Tex to fill them. If they are larger holes(>1/2"), you will need to grind the hull and repair with epoxy + cloth.
