I know a lot of you guy's allready do this, and I have read about it for years. Some times I just need to get slaped upside the head with an idea before it sinks in. The other day I had one of the mechanics where I work fix a machine. He used a digital camera to record stuff so he could reassemble it correctly. He had an instant record and was able to get the pictures he needed and wanted to save. Me not being the most digital person, was impressed. When I think of cameras I think flim, developing, poloriod, pain in the rear, etc. I read on these forums quite often where fella's complain that the manuals never show good enough photos of the area that they are working on. Well here is the solution to that, take your own photos. The sad thing is, I purchessed one of these digital cameras for my wife a while back. I think I'll be learning how to use it now.

Re: Repair tip.

alcan i already use one of those things and i rebuilt my carbs on my merc and never been into one before and the camera paid off in the job since the manuel is very skimpy in these areas but you are right it is a good sourse of storage instead of the old forgetful memory cells :D :D
