My 1998 Johnny 150HPV6 has the original OMS pump. It is working fine, however, It has been 25years or more since new. Should I replace it as a part of PM and if so, should I use a rebuild kit ($195), an aftermarket one ($150) or an oem part for $600?

You can rebuild it but I don't know if I would trust the oil side. Aftermarket are garbage. I would pay up for the OEM one and keep the oiler. If you dont want the oiler Go with the aftermarket double pump. .

Thanks for the reply. I do like the auto oil injection. I guess I am flying off the idea of a rebuild for $200 vs an OEM pump for $600.

Your point about the oil side is valid, since there are no rebuild kits for the oil side.
