Replace or rebuild

I have a 19' bayliner Capri I/O with a 3.0 135. I have had nothing but problems for the last few years and now it has seized. I'm concidering rebuilding it or possibly replacing it with a 4.3. can anyone give me some advise?

If you have the stringers for the front mounts for the 4.3 that would be a good swap. BUT you also need new y pipe, outdrive needs regeared or replaced. So f you have the money and or know how it can be doen. But your best option is to get a 3.0 long block and swap all your other stuff over and get boating.
