Hi Guys,
Looking for ideas on what to use to replace the padded side panels on my 1990 Seaswirl Striper. I've been kicking around the idea of using Starboard but the cost is a little steep. Just want something that looks a little more "modern" that the padded stuff.
Thanks,

By "modern" do you mean new, or a updated style? What kind of look are you going for?

I guess an updated style best describes it. A simple look.
Thanks for responding.

The most cost effective way of doing it is to start with a plywood base then laminate or cover it with whatever you want. You could go as simple as new padded vinyl or something fancier. You could also finish the wood with stain or fiberglass over it and paint. I have a friend that used a teak look-alike laminate over ply that looked really good. Its really your choice. The process of doing it is really simple depending on how fancy you go.
