replace/repair fuel nipple

i have 1999 Evinrude E15EL4EEB 15hp motor.fuel was leaking out of the hose on left rear fuel hose.i cut hose went to put line on and it broke the nipple on carb.how can i repair it?financially i cannot buy a new one.thanks

Is it the accelerator pump cover? #27 on this diagram? http://www.marineengine.com/parts/j...facturer=Evinrude&section=Carburetor+--+15+Hp

It's 51$ I believe. I think that's about as cheaply as you're going to get out of the problem.

Is the nipple broken off the carburetor?

Is it a brass nipple? If so, maybe you can talk to a dealer and see if they have one that will fit.
