Hi all,<br />I have a 17.5 footer with an open bow. Most of our outings we have two adults and two kids. It's usually me driving and the wife and kids in the bow area. The passenger seat is rarely use. I'm considering taking out the passenger seat (it's easily removable and put back)and put in a table for food and drinks. When we have more passengers I will put the seat back in. Is it OK to do this? Am I breaking any law by removing a seat when I'm on the water? Thanks.

Re: Replace seat with a table

Sounds like a simple update/modification.No laws about removing seats that I have ever heard of in a boat.Sounds like a decent idea.Charlie
