Hello, I have to replace the trim motor on my 1994 Force outboard 120hp, it is the single piston hydraulic setup. I have watched a video on You Tube but they show replacing the whole unit, both the hydraulic and motor. I ordered the motor only, as I hope the hydraulics are still good. The motor was going in and out of working for a while and looked pretty corroded, now its dead. Does anyone have any advise on how to go about this, replacing only the motor and reusing the hydraulics.
Thank you, Mike

Pics always help???
Is the motor on the outside? If so, not hard at all.
But if it's inside next to the piston.
The electric motor is held on with 4 screws(maybe allen head) the back 2 can be impossible to get to.
I just changed one on a Mercury and had to pull the motor to get it off.

If so, make sure you fill the system before you remount the motor.
