After what I believe was an impeller failure on my Volvo Penta 130 (on a 2005 Stingray 185), I replaced the impeller as instructed. Engine was still overheating so I pulled the hose to the thermostat housing and very little flow was coming from the impeller outlet. If I lowered the hose outlet the flow increased significantly. (This was all done with a water hose connected to the attached near the engine).
Any next suggestions. I would assume that I should have see very large amount of flow from the impeller discharge (correct?).
