Replaced steering still have issues

I just replaced the steering system on my 92 ski sanger works fine tell you put it in the water still sticky in spots maybe something to do with the turbulence of the prop I don't know

It would if you told what you're steering. Not the boat, but the part in the water that gives directional control.
