Replacement Control Box for 76 Evinrude

Hi fellow boaters-<br />Does anyone know what is available to replace my worn out control box for a 76 evinrude? I've seen some replacement boxes but they all say they take the threaded cables (78 and later). Any ideas? Thx.

hello<br /> you can use the new style box from bombardier with the correct cables or adapters. any dealer can fix you up.<br /> good luck and keep posting.
