So I am way into the tear down part of my project but before I go and sit at Fastenal to replace all the bolts I have taken off. I was wondering if there is a kit already made somewhere with all the fasteners I am going to need during my rebuild? I know I can get riser and exhaust bolts just wondering about all the others like the raw water pump bracket, starter, and other accessories that are attached. Juat in case anyone is wondering after the boat has been sitting for 5 years i managed to only break one bolt so far and the only thing left is one pita starter bolt and two well rounded pump bracket bolts. So I feel a little accomplished this week.. Thanks in advance for any serious help given.
cheers
Joe

Request a tad more info
Many replace head bolts and even mains, and others do not. If your talking about replacing every fastener then that is another issue. Which ones do you want to replace?

There is no "kit" with all the fasteners.

It would help to know what you are working on.

Sorry I forgot this wasn't linked to my first post. Working on tearing down twin 2000 volvopenta 5.0 engines. I am specifically looming for all the accessory fasteners for the outside of the ekgine..for example..raw water pump bracket, alternator/power steering bracket. I was simply wondering if there was a mfg kit or something to make it a little easier. I can and will go to fastenal with the manual and get every bolt I can and order others that I can't get from there...
Thanks
Joe

There should also be a bolt supply house on the coast, Fastenal has good stuff but sometimes you have to buy more than you need. Hopefully there is a place called Fasteners inc. somewhere on the coast, over here they have the most inventory I have ever seen.
You lucked out on the dipstick, some engines have 2 tubes, one is for pumping the oil out and the other is the tube going into the oil pan.
