I have a Bayliner 185 with a couple lighted toggle switches that need replacement. I pulled out one of them, it shows p/n 1706122 on the switch. "SWITCH, SPST LIGHTED TOGGLE AMBER" is the description. It has 3 poles on the back.

I cannot find this p/n available online. Skimming through a few sites, I don't see a direct replacement. What would be a similar 3 pole lighted switch that I could use instead?

Thanks!

Have you called a Bayliner or Maxum dealer?

Not yet. My closest dealer is an hour away. I suppose I can stop by West Marine and see what they have on the shelf to see if anything looks like it might work. Just curious if there was a known go-to place for this type of stuff.

Do you have a telephone?

A hull number and telling him which switch it is should get you a switch. It looks like a special design that you likely won't find except from the dealer.

I found a 4 pole SPST toggle switch at West Marine that works great. It's designed for dependent or independent use, so it worked fine for my 3 pole operation.

I thought you was looking for one that matched the rest of your switches. Lots of places carries switches with the same function, they just don't look the same.

Sorry, no, by direct replacement I meant I was looking for another 3 pole switch. I did not know the 4 pole switches would work until I was checking out the instructions.

Thanks for the help.
