I bought my first boat about 2 yrs ago. I have had a ball and since reading the forum, realized I need to replace the floor as well as the foam. It is really waterlogged...
I just started to cut out the old floor. Has anyone tried this in the middle of winter in upstate NY! The floor was frozen solid, and as you can see the foam is as well.

I was very surprised the the stringers look like they are in very good shape. However, this may be cause of the cold...

Looks like time to get out the ice skates! How do you plan to get it out? Just curious!:)

Looking good so far... looks better than mine did... you know you have a problem when you don't need any tools to remove your deck.

Looks like a lot of fun.

thoes stringers dont look too bad from here....id suggest taking a scribe and poking into them, or dirll a small hole in them.and looka t the wood on the drill bit....if its frozen....its wet....

but meanwhile.....it doesnt look too bad....you may have caught it in time....
