Can anyone recommend any websites where you can buy OEM parts more reasonably priced than at a local marina/Mercury dealer? And, any in particular to stay away from.

Thanks in advance.

Engine coupler, Gimbal bearing kit, lower shift cable, trim senders, front seal kit etc...Everything that I should replace if I'm going through the effort of pulling the engine to replace the engine coupler.

Thanks...........

Re: Replacement parts for 470R

Were I to do my u-joint bellows again I would use the OEM Mercruiser one. I thought the old (OEM) one that I took off was significantly sturdier than the aftermarket bellows. I don't mind spending a little extra on something that can sink my boat ($8/year). Just my opinion. The other stuff, aftermarket should be just fine. Good luck.
