Replacement Plastic fuel Filler does it need the green bonding wire?

My original fuel filler was metal and it had a ground or bonding wire attached.
The new one is plastic so I am assuming it isn't needed. or should it still be grounded elsewhere
The fuel tank is aluminum.

Do you have a picture or part number for this plastic fuel filter? Is this one of those automotive in-line plastic filters?

Mike, what did your instructions that came with the new FILLER say.
