I have a Mercury 50HP ELHPTO (1999) and a classic quicksilver control box. The 5-pin tachometer output from the controller is corroded and missing a pin. Can anyone tell me what the proper replacement connector is?

Gee, I looked a bit on the web and did not see one. If you find a Mercury parts place, they may have a breakdown on the connector on the boat wiring harness.

Alternatively, get some good marine bullet connectors and cut off both connectors, and use the bullet connectors instead.

the connector itself comes in the harness. from a sealing point of view, they sort of suck.

I personally would swap that connector with a Deutsch or Amphenol DT/AT series connector
