I am looking for a source for some new wood for my boat. Mainly looking for a new set of doors that divide the cockpit from the bow on my 89 Celebrity Bowrider. The old wood (doors, treads, and cup holder) are teak and not doing too well. I can fab the rest but the shutter style doors will be too time intensive. Actually would like to find some doors that are made of composite if they exist. Thanks in advance!

if you have the skills to make all of the other parts, why not use 'starboard' composites to make some faux louvered doors? You can get starboard right here on Iboats and you can get a templates to help cut the top of the arch with a router, something like this:http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=11483

Then use a 'V' groove bit to make faux louvers in the doors??

Re: Replacement Woodwork

Hello

I replaced the doors to my cuddy with cypress shutters. I just used the hardware from the old doors and ordered the two shutters to the size that I needed to replace the old doors. A search on the net will pull many different sites that can build them to the size you want. Mine cost about 80.00 with shipping.
I don't have the link that I ordered mine from, but I did a quick search and found
