Replacing #3 coil, Force 1988 125 1251X8A

Does the what looks like 3 studs holding on the whole electronics plate on come off to get out the #3 coil? Looks like that to me. Right, wrung?

Yup 3 1/2" nuts and 1 ground wire to remove the bracket.

Thanks..what I thought! Still kicking after 28 years in salt too! Long ago updated stator, one bad power pack. Beast won't give up!

​The kingpin area rotted away and I had to take em off.
​Replaced with a 225 Mercury
