I have a 16' eclipse bowrider and i am replacing a 5x7 piece of decking above the fuel tank, it will be screwed to the strigers and use PL adhesive. I am using 3:1 epoxy resin coating the bottom and on top will fill gaps with peanut butter, I would like to skip using 1708 biax tape on the seams so the final appearance will look more uniform (no bumps in the floor, i will not cover with carpet) I was going to use 7 1/2 oz E-glass cloth with no mat since i'm using epoxy. Any thoughts or opinions for my non-performance fishing boat.
