Hello, I have a 2007 Mariah FS18 with the mercruiser 3.0 I would like to change the fuel pump filter, but how in the world can you get to it and when you do how is it replaced?????????
occasionally with the down mounted filter pump removal is the only option.
DO NOT twist off the bowl retaning bolt.
that strap is not avalible seperatly and if you damage it a 156 dollar pump may be in your future.
now may be a good time to add a fuel water seperator if it does not have on now.
