Hi fellas.
I am in need of replacing my carburetor, and need to know if I can replace a Mercarb 2bbl on a 305 gm engine, with a rochester 2GC 2-jet carb?

Will this engine accept this swap?

Thanks.
Les.

The electric choke just needs 12 volts.

Key on 12V. Otherwise, your battery will go dead.

I would ask the seller to give you: bolt pattern measurements and throttle body bore measurement (where the bottom butterflies are.

Or, you could go to the Holley or Edelbrock website and see if one of their carbs is a direct replacement for both.
