Replacing anodes on a SX-M

[GMTK]

2004 Hurricane with a 4.3 volvo and SX-M outdrive. Friend replaced his anodes on his mercruiser and that got me thinking about mine. Are they even external? I found one site with a schematic but can't tell. Do I have to pull the lower unit to replace them? Boat has never been in salt water and is stored dry when not in use.

You should be able to see it, it's a raw aluminum piece. No disassembly required.

You probably don't need to replace.
