Replacing boat deck

I'm getting ready to start my resto project on a 1989 CC Glassmaster. I'm in the process of reading up on the infinite knowledge on iboats. I'm thinking that I want to completely take the deck out, meaning the casting bow and the stern storage compartments. Then put a new deck down and rebuild the casting bow (with anchor storage underneath) and the stern storage compartments. The deck part doesn't seem all that bad, but it's the rebuild of the casting bow and the stern storage compartments that has me stumped. Any advice or any already resto threads (& pics) out there to give me some guidance. Thanks,

I'm working on a bow casting deck with storage hatches on my project right now. It has been a pain but I'm about ready to do the final assembly and I think it's going to turn out well. Check out my 18' SS thread below.
